The Apprenticeship program is a 3-year commitment that includes 144 classroom hours per year and 2000 on-the-job training hours per year (40-hour week) for a total of 6000 hours. Yes. Successful students will receive a State Certified Roofing Technician Certification approved by the Florida Department of Education, Department of Labor and the Department of Veteran Affairs, Benefits Division.

No. If selected for the Apprenticeship program, Advanced Roofing will pay for all ABC Roofing Apprenticeship program classes as outlined on our Timeline and Overview page.

Yes. The starting rate is $14/hr. for selected, qualifying candidates and increases annually for those who successfully complete the program requirements. See our flyer for more details.

Many students go on to pursue careers as Foreman, Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, and Construction Managers, increasing their leadership skills and earning potential.

Yes. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can go on to earn an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from Broward College through a newly developed partnership.
